Yes! Believe it or not, dictionaries are DEscriptive rather than PREscriptive - they also recently added "doh" as an interjection after Homer Simpson catapulted it into popular parlance.
And don't be surprised if somebody is already hard at work making a printed-copy "dictionary" of common Internet/chat abbreviations.
