I sho feel u on that one. I've found some at many different places. Payless Shoe Store, Shoe Carnival, FamousFootwear.com & DuoBoots.com. The site duoboots tells u how to measure & u shop by ur measurements so u know they will fit & they have several different styles to choose from. The only thing is the business is based in the United Kingdom. Just so long as u don't mind ordering internationally, it's all good. Many people have reservations about doing that, I used too but I work for UPS & used to handle international packages & I've become alot more trustworthy when it comes to ordering internationally.

You could try Lane Bryant. Yes, it's a plus size store, but they probably have the knee-high boots that are extra wide around the top since the store caters to bigger women. Hope this helps. :)

I feel your pain. Many stores will "stretch" the boots for you on a stretching machine. I don't know the technical term for it but I have had some boots of mine stretched, and it has worked pretty well. Or you could try your local shoe repair.

I have the exact same problem! I once found some boots that had a stretchy type top that fit.....anything that isn't stretchy is too small though. I like my calfs...but yep....finding boots sure does suck!

I have big calves and what I do is take my boots to the shoe repair shop and have them sew elastic up the inside.
