Well believe it. When I was in high school my best friend and I were playing around with one and wound up opening the doors of hell. It was kinda cold that day and we were in the house. We started getting really hot and hotter until we closed the doors. Later on another friend and I bought one from a toy store. We could not wait until we got it to her house. Once there we opened it up. Her boyfriend at the time came by and watched as we played the thing. He left and we were still fooling with it. Well we just kept asking all kinds of questions until I seen a place in the city I knew nothing about and seen an ambulance going down a road and at the same time my friend saw her boyfriend's face as he was about to get into an accident. Well when the boyfriend got home he called and told my friend that he was almost in an accident. Also that he was really scared sh*tless. He came back and we burnt the board. I have one right now that is just sitting in a room not being touched. I may try it after I bless it and myself. I am not sure though.

I once had a Ouija board (duh, right?), and I couldn't get rid of it. My mom tried to throw it out, but it came back. I saw it in the trash at the side of the road as I was leaving for school (this was a few years ago), but when I got home, it was on my bed.
Then I threw it away - not in the trash, but a dumpster about 2 miles from home - so nobody could bring it back like I thought happened the first time.
When I got home from school - on the bed!
So, I asked around, and one girl in school with me claimed she was a gypsy. She was part middle Eastern (and beautiful). She'd told her mom what was happening, and I got the next advice from her mom. She told me to burn it - the board, the pointer, even the box and instructions it came with. So I did. For a few days, there was nothing. I remember waking up to go P in the middle of the night and hearing a deep, sad crying. I thought I was just hearing things, ignored it and went to bed.
That weekend, my stayed over - the one whose mom gave me the burning advice. She heard it, too, and freaked out. She called her mom.... apparently, her mom forgot to mention that the 'spirits of the board' might try to keep a hold on me.

Anyway, that's the story - the spirits got ditched, and it's cool now.

Trust me, it is true.
Ouija boards are used to communicate with evil spirits (i.e. demons) they are an old tool of people who use magic improperly/ practice black magic.
These spirits will communicate through these boards because they are an invitation to them, they will try to influence the physical realm because contacting them through the board gives them your permission to do so.
The proper way to dispose of the board is to burn it and then collect the ashes and have them blessed by a pastor/priest, bury them away from your dwelling.
Please be considerate of any friends you have that are sensitive to the spirit world, do not invite them into your house while you have a Ouija board present, many people who are sensitive are only receptive and do not have the strength to deal with what will assault them.

first of all theres no such thing as demons but there are bad spirits or ghosts some of them down right nasty the ouija board is a tool used to channel ghosts or spirits some say it works others dont in my opinion it does it can actually make you a medium if used properly its not for beginers remember they deserve respect to just as well as you do most people that have had bad experiences with them have provoked it themselves

They can be the devil to get rid of. Burning is suggested if they keep coming back. Good spirits do not communicate thru the board. Guess what that leaves. You will either have to be very stupid or strong to play with it.
I suggest since you don't believe anyway to leave it alone.

The ouija board is not hype by mind-over-matter. The human mind can conceptualize a building, then create it. It can make itself sick, or cure its self of cancer. Devices like the ouija board are mere tools to cut through the clutter of daily living to reach the higher mind.

i had to check the other answers to see if people were taking this question seriously,,,because my mom got into that years ago and one night after using it with her friends,,she laid it on her bed,,it was still there when she went to bed and during the night her bed was shaking until she took it off. then one of my daughters was up in big bear with relatives and i was using the board and it said that my daughter was hurt,,we debated on whether to check it out or not but i did and my daughter ( 3 years) had fallen off the patio step and scraped her knee.....

You must be extremly careful when you connect yourself to the spirit realm via spirit board. Not only do you open yourself to the good things. You open up to the bad things as well.
