I have an activeX control that launches from a web page using the code
below: it launches fine but not before giving this error in IE: "This
page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Do you want to display
the nonsecure items?"

How can I supress this message without changing my ActiveX control?
Anything I can do in the HTML source?

I don't know much about using activeX (i personally am very against it as it is very insecure and doesn't work on any browser other than IE), but it doesn't look like that frame source is secure. What protocol is qbks? is that just what you have to put in for activeX programs?
