Depends on your specific needs. For those of us with allergies and sensitive skin though, I recommend Perscriptives. It's pricey, but it's also worth it to get through an evening without blotches caused by inflamed skin or allergic reactions.

Well, it's hard to say, why don't you check out " The cosmetic cops-don't go to the cosmetics counter without me" (I believe this is the name of the book, or it must be very similar like this, I am sure you'll have no problem searching for this book on the internet).

Sheer cover has the best ones i know. Alot of movie stars are even wearing it. The best part is it doesnt even look like fake makeup you dont get a mask looking feeling. It even covers up beauty marks. For more info go to this website
