I had to save someone who choked on a Werther's Original....it's true!!! those suckers are deadly!!!

They can choke on them because I have. I was a kid and did exactly what my parents told me not to do and laid down while I had food in my mouth, well it was a life savor and sure enough it went down my windpipe. Thankfully my dad came in my room to check on me. He had to get it out of my throat.

Actually, they probably could, depending on the size of the persons throat and the angle of the Life Saver. Ironic, isn't it...

no the reason they are called lifesavers is because they have a hole in middle and you cant choke on them.
