Those five are the main options--the two major parties and the two largest "third" parties, and the "I give up on our nation--voting won't change anything because it's all too late now" option of not voting at all.

Add remarks and/or imaginative cursing as you wish to help me decide how to award the 10 points.

Remember, this COULD BE one of the last national-impact elections America may ever hold, so express yourself freely--which also may one among the last opportunities remaining in your life to express yourself openly and publically without fear of the CIA and/or FBI coming to take you away for private interviews involving water torture and/or your premanent retention as a "person of interest". A caution here, however, is that THEY may be keeping lists of potentially unruly "citizens" for later rounding-up.

(I hope I'm not biasing the results here--at least I am not using an electronic voting machine with no validation printouts, for whatever THOSE are worth, you know.

There are several parties with "Conservative" in the name. The second-largest of the "third" parties uses that word exclusively in its label. I listed only the largest of the Third parties. There are only two and both are really small operations, regretably.

Democratic, of course.

With the way the Rep. have screwed up this country I don't see how a thinking person could vote any other way.

And if you don't vote at all, your an even bigger fool.

Isn't Republican and Conservative the same party, or have I been totally lost for the last seven years?

hmmm Anyway, I will vote for the best person for the job. It would be great if a third party could get their nose in there with some ideas... but that probably won't happen in my lifetime. It really depends on who brings it to the table. I don't want our defenses weakened any more, that's for sure.

I will keep my senators Stabenow and Levin, both have great records, and have served my state well. I will keep Jennifer Granholm, I feel she is doing a great job with the dumpster she was handed, and she needs more time to fix it all. As for the rest, I will have to see who is running, and decide. I'm not too sure about Mike Bouchard, he's running, and he is currently the Oakland Co. sheriff...I'm not too happy with the police in Detroit, nor do I think anything but dirty politics can come out of Detroit right now...so, I will continue to see what is going on, and make my decisions closer to November.

I would like to be able to vote Libertarian, but that would be a waste. Until we get rid of our 2 party system, no 3rd party is ever going to win. Unfortunately, that leaves picking the lesser of 2 evils (Republicans and Democrats). Not much of a choice considering the Democrats would immediately surrender to the terrorists, U.N., and anybody else that doesn't like us.

Republicans domestic policy sucks as much as the Democrats (except tax cuts), but at least they'll fight. So put me down as voting Republican.

As a fiscal conservative, social liberal, and someone who's sick of the current administration, I'll be voting for the right man or woman for the job. I'd like to see our next POTUS be a POTUS for the whole united states, rather than just for some right wing sect.

I'm not sure I care what party. More about their views and plans for the country.

When I find out who the candidates are to be, I'll let you know who I intend to vote for, or against. More than likely it will be a moderate or a conservative. I definitely will vote against a left wing commislamic.

Libertarian, Reform or Independent(in that order). If none exist then I will vote against the incumbent.

I guarantee you one thing whichever party wins the houses it will not be the last election in the United States.

Regardless I do hope and pray that the Republicans win so we can keep thumbing our noses at the Democrats.
