I had a doll when I was younger which I named Victoria. I also remember that I wanted to name a doll Hyacinthia, but that can be really long.
What i tend to do is pick out a feature from the doll and come up with a name similar to it. For example: honey colored hair = call her Honey, Goldie, Goldilocks. Hazel eyes = Amber, Tawny, etc.
