angela basset was soooo awesome as tina turner.. i can't believe tina really went thru that with ike.... amazing.
there was this one incident where in the limo ike just Popped her in the face for NO reason....cuz he was jealous or what have you.. and she opened the door and crawled away to the hotel and was Bleeding and finally had the balls to say "stay away from me" and everyone was like all sorry for her!

Lol yea I remember that part they beat each other up and when they were on the plane and he was layin on her and she pushed him off got up and said go to hell Ike lol. Anyway the real Ike Turner said they exaggerated in that movie and that he really didn't do all that guess they added some stuff to make the movie longer but yea that was a good movie very inspiring for women going through that.

Seen that movie!! LOVED IT!!! Angela played that roll and Im like you I dont know how she wwnt through all that. She is truely a strong woman!!!phenomenal. Ohh yeah that was the limo scene where she fought back and then she kicked his assets!!!!! GO TINA!!!
