Don't ever try and do anything illegal in Cuba. It is a beautiful country, but the jails are horrible. You would be in jail for a good part of the rest of your life. Your country would not help get you out of there. Cuba is a small country but it has many, many prisons in every part of the country. Don't even associate with anyone that is doing anything illegal.

I agree with Rickster and Cabby. And like them , I'm not talking morals, just reality. It's absolutely not worth the risk of even looking for it. You could easily be set up and busted just for publicity to show how good their police are in catching 'decadent foreigners'. And you don't want to rot in jail for any reason, let alone something dumb like that, right?
If you do happen to find any and don't get caught, don't try smuggling it out! Biiiiig trouble if you get nabbed.

Not very common at all. You'd have to bring it with you. Which - I doubt you'd want to do either...
You ( the tourist) wouldn't get in too much trouble. The cuban that sold it too you...ouch. Don't go there.

I would be carefull if I was you,dont break the law in a country youre not even from also consider you will be dealing with the criminal element....Are you cuban.
