If the BIG 3 (Nash, Stoudemire, and Marion) can all stay healthy this season, I think the Suns will reach the finals (and probably play the Heat). I really believe they would have defeated Dallas in the Conference Finals last season if Amare had been available. The Mavericks can't defend Stoudemire which will open the game up even more for Nash, Marion, and the rest of the team. Dallas had the championship in there grasp a season ago, and then pulled one of the biggest choke jobs in NBA history.
One last thing: Don't completely count out San Antonio. The Spurs have won the title every other season since 2003. If this interesting pattern holds up, they will be the one's hoisting the trophy in 2007.

The Dallas Mavericks gained Devean George, Anthony Johnson, Austin Croshere. In the process they lost Darrell Armstrong, Rawle Marshall, Josh Powell, and Marquis Daniels. I don't consider that a major improvement. Not that a team that just reached the Finals really needs major improvement. The Phoenix Suns lost Tim Thomas(solid playoff contributor), Eddie House(disappeared in playoffs), and Brian Grant (even when he wasn't injured, he didn't contribute). Phoenix then added Marcus Banks (finally a backup for Nash) who averaged 12ppg and 4.7 apg last season. They added 3pt specialist Eric Piatkowski who will probably not get much playing time. A key addition that most people overlooked is the acquisition of Jumaine Jones. At 6-8, he averaged 10.5 ppg and 4.9 rbs. He will be a key player coming off the bench. The Suns are also adding Amare Stoudemire, who only played 3 games last year. When you compare both teams, on paper the Phoenix Suns look like the clear-cut team to beat in the West. Even if Amare isn't 100% (and he won't be), I would pick the Suns to be the West's Finals representative.

Dallas is the most complete team in the league. They can play defense and and very talented offensively. Dirk Nowitzki is top 10 in the league but Phoenix can get past them only with Amare' Stoudemire. He is there key. He will be hard to contain if he goes back to the one we knew. Dampier and Diop will be posters on somebodies wall. It will go to 7 then from then it will be on Dirk and Nash. I go with Suns. also look out for Marion he always shows up on big games.

right it extremely is why they continuously fall short: a million. Steve Nash isn't good adequate bodily. He tires out too quickly and could desire to artwork on his stamina. 2. Amare Stoudemire gets fouled lots, however the refs do no longer continuously seize it. No ref is suitable, so we could purely say that he's a uncomplicated objective of human blunders. 3. Raja Bell's protection is somewhat interior the grey section. he's an impressive defender, and if he watches his tendency of grabbing different gamers' clothing, I see 2 DPOY awards for him. He gets a selection of of fouls called against him that could desire to be prevented. 4. 5 much less minutes of enjoying time for Nash, and 5 extra minutes for Barbosa. The Suns could desire to start up making waiting their next factor shield as quickly as they could. Nash is growing to be old 5. Mike D'Antoni desires to calm down. it extremely is sturdy for his gamers shallowness and for his very own wellness. we are able to all study from LeBron James. he's so calm and composed, and takes winning/dropping gracefully, and his interviews are so eloquent. i do no longer prefer Steve Nash to finally finally end up like Karl Malone or Charles Barkley; attaining notably lots each and every thing there is aside from a championship. i individually desire that in the time of 30 years, whilst a clean technology of youthful followers are available in and hear some guy named Steve Nash, they won't have the misunderstanding: "This guy won a bazillion MVP's yet in no way a championship. He could desire to quite fail at making his teammates extra constructive." i prefer Steve Nash to get one this 12 months. in comparison with the different superstars interior the league (Kobe, LeBron, D-Wade) he quite has the wonderful helping solid. 2 different all stars!
