I am sick of the word "amazing'. It is so overused that every time I hear it, I want to scream.

People say what is the trend to say. While amazing does describe alot of things other words could be used to describe better. You look stunning....You smell like a garden of fresh roses on a warm day... I just bought this car. It is the color of .... The problem is too many people take the easy way of describing things instead of being more descriptive.

Me, I'm sick of the word "awesome". Most people who use it don't understand what it really means.

"I had a pizza last night, it was awesome."

Bullsh*t, there is no way a pizza can inspire awe!

Same with "literally".

"I *literally* died from shame."

Bullsh*t, you are still breathing!

Too much television leads to too little reading which leads to small vocabularies. A pity, that!
