I want to insulate my attic its about 400 sq ft. The room next to the attic gets too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. Do I need to insualte the attic floor or ceiling, I know I need to insulate the walls. But I need to know how much rolled insualtion costs.

I used this stuff from Owens Corning about 6 years ago. I haven't seen it since, but the only place I could find it was at Lowes (Home Depot did not have anything like it). I even checked the Owens Corning website and don't see it anymore?

It came in 50 ft rolls and was 24" wide (I think . .. maybe 36").

I believe it was $35 per roll and I think it was R14.

It was very easy to work with and is lined with a protective plastic cover. I'm actually looking for more to put another layer on.

Do not insulate the roof, just floor/walls.

Call or www your local builder supply for pricing and recommended R factors in your area.
