I had a Microsoft Windows for quite a while and it always got slow and gave up and got stuck and all. It was all really confusing in My computer to change a setting. But my son got me an Apple Mac recently and taught me how to use it properly and it was an awful lot easier. I got MIcrosoft Office for Mac and it's working just fine. I can use and work with all my files just like I used to. And it looked a lot better in my office than a big massive screen.

I like pc's alot aka microsoft and ill explain why with this story:::
But listen to this here in south florida our school system purchased for our webdeisgn class over 200 imacs in the year 2000 costing more than $50,000 dollars, later the school purchased Imac G2 towers ,later emacs all in one macs then we bought the tower computer the mac g4 dual core yes it cost a preety penny an average of $3,000 per computer multiplied over 100 yes over a quarter of a million dollars but it was a good mac but we ran into problems all the time computer failed, stopped working, programs crashed even with tiger, now that i hear that leopard is coming out with intel processors, BEWARE yes why?
people have heard rumors that you could run windows on a intel mac processor powered computer when leopard comes out you can do this according to the rumor. This will just ruin mac, if you put windows on a mac it just became a pc.
Heres some good and bad examples.

Windows pc's
Crashes
Viruses
Compatability problems
Trojans
Malware
Hackers
Phishing
Pharming
ID Theft
Patches every 2 hours
Pop ups
Email Viruses
HDCP
The new problem which requires you to buy special equipment to play hi def dvd's and bluray since microsoft and hollywood is scared you might make copies of their hi def dvd.this is the tip of the ice berg .

Mac's
Crashes
Viruses(this has been cropping alot thanks to the intel processor)
malware
phising
remote acess attacks
you can't play games on a mac and even with an intel processor
compatability problems
trojans(thanks intel)
When a mac breaks good luck fixing it because its hard to fix a mac with a serious problem even with an intel processor

A pc a problems can be fixed in hours not dayslike macs.

Linux is starting to have the same problems it's very stable but games don't run under it

So here's what i did man i got a mac for important stuff. And get a cheap Dell Basic Computer for $329 dollars for stuff thats different believe me ive had my share of problems with a mac and i will never give up pc's

hope you find this helpful

I prefer Windows because:
1. It has more games available than MAC
2. More software are developed for Windows
3. Easier to customize
4. Cheaper to build a PC and upgrade
5. Easier to get help on because, it is widely used.

I have been using Windows, since 95. When programming, I prefer to be under the Windows Environment.

Don't get me wrong, I do like MACs for their looks and feel. If I was into graphic designs, then my preference may be a MAC.

I prefer Windows because it is most widely used and accepted. I began with IBM years ago, at work, then we got Windows. That was in a large university. Now I work in a rather large hospital complex. All hospitals in this corporation use Windows. Do you see what I mean?

Unless the Mac and Windows can "be as one," I would not consider switching to Mac -- but, that's just me. Those who have Macs swear by them.

windows is good only because users have more power to modify their system and resolve software issues, and because most people use it so it is good for compatibility. Apart from that, they are unreliable and the operating systems are always severely flawed, thus the large amount of fixes and service patches.
On the other hand, apple's are much more reliable, and their computers are much more stylish. also they are up and coming and now have versions of windows programs, such as office that are compatible with them. Moreover, less power to resolve software issues is not important as there never are any!
I currently use windows, but only because of the compatibility issue, and also I like to right click.

abode windows is large for enterprise and private use. Mac is sturdy for multimedia stuff, like photos, video clips, etc. people declare Mac is safer than abode windows yet that isn't actual. the only reason you're able to desire to evaluate Macs safer is that maximum desktops run abode windows so people make viruses for abode windows. If somebody have been to make a scourge for a Mac it would unfold like wildfire. it would desire to quite reason havoc by way of fact Mac would not have as many anti-virus applications as abode windows.

I love Apple. They're more expensive but they're far more user friendly, beautiful and geared towards graphics and media. Plus viruses are rarely ever developed for Mancintoshes and they hardly ever crash like Microsoft does.
