You cant hate him for how he feels.
I'm wondering if the problem isn't really with you. You're upset not because he's bad person but because he's a nerd. Why not give him a chance.

Georgie Porgie Pudding Pie ... Kissed the girls & made them cry.
When the girls came out to play, Georgie Porgie ran away.
Do you know how to act & have fun with acting? If so follow these steps:
1. Tell him that he's hot and you really love him too.
2. Demand flowers & chocolates.
3. When you get the flowers & chocolates then complain about them and tell him to return them & get you stuff ... this shows he doesn't love you at all.
4. Ask him how he feels about marriage and kids.
5. Make sure he understands your religious and you want him to carry a Bible with him every where he goes.
6. Ask him to do your homework 4 u and then yell at him for being too young to understand.
7. Tell him that kissing out of marriage is against your religious beliefs, but he should buy you a necklace.
8. Take him cloth shopping with you. Once he looks bored with shoping for clothes for you --- tell him you want to play "Barbie & Ken", so you get to pick outfits out for him to try on (giggle) ... and make him try every thing on in the men's section (be nice and don't ask him to cross dress).
9. Sing "Phantom of the Opera" for him constantly out of key.
10. Have him get feminine hygene for you (tampons, pads, ect).

Smile and tell him "thank you". His crush will eventually pass, and you'll feel better about yourself if you look back and remember you treated him nicely and not harshly.
It's not easy to tell someone you dig them (and risk rejection) so give him some brownie points for putting himself out there...nerdy or not, he's still a person with feelings...
A few years down the road, you may see him (a bit more matured) and wish he still dug you like he used to...

Tell him you are not interested in dating not in your life and that you have other things that you are concentrating on. You need to be honest with him. That is best, do not be afraid to hurt his feelings now. Better now then later.

Wear really dorky clothes, don't take a shower for a week, don't brush your teeth, and spit on him when you talk...he'll think less of you after that...lol Be sure to tell your friends what you're up to. You don't want to chase EVERYONE away....lol Good luck!

Introduce him to another girl -- probably one more his age.
Or encourage him to see other people (and give him just a little dating advice so that he doesn't blow it with her). He will forget about you as soon as he finds someone who likes him back.

Well if he likes you you can't do anything about that.
The only thing you can do is tell him to keep it to himself because you are not interested.
It's that simple.
