I see this is a sales question, you need to repost and clarify that and post it in the right category, no one is going to know what you're talking about with this.

go with it. specifically ask why and for what reasons. those reasons may be logical whether the efffects are short term or long term however, you need to clarify why now is best. the mroe you dig, you will eventually come upon the real reason WHY. this objection is your typical run of the mill response from someone who is generally too stupid to realize the benefits of what you're trying to do. whatever reasons they give you for changing their miind, you need to address them and counter them with why straying from you or your sale is bad for them. these sorts of sales are generally the long term variety meaning that whatever benefits they may get are not immediate but will occur sometime down the road. most people will take the quick and easy route and this is rarely the best option. simply layout why your method is better for them both in short and long term scenarios. may be very well that they just don't want to. then it comes down to convinicing them that waiting only delays the inevitable. acting quickly gives them direction and focus for the high road and the long term benefits.

Offer to pay the difference in what they would have been able to get if the house had sold when it was listed vs what they MIGHT be able to get in today's market. Most folks that I know who are not re-listing are doing so because they cannot afford to sell at today's prices.

Something caused them to change their mind...it's your job to find out what it was. By creating rapport with them and listening, you'll discover the real reason and then be able to overcome it.
