ok here goes . when i got a motgage a few years ago my friend let me use her name as well as my own to get the mortagage . she never paid a penny towards this . basically just helped me get the mortgage . anyway she then moved abroad and decided she might not be coming back . so i told her i was going to put the mortgage back in to my name and my name alone . she agreed it would be best as she was planning on living abroad . anyway as she wasnt here she told her sister to sighn on her behalf and everything was fine . now 2 and a half years later she has she has moved back and shes with this guy whos a jerk . and she told him my house was hers and mine . so now they have decided to try and fight me for half of the house and she is saying she can prove that it was sighned over while she was away . and i have asked her why is she doing this as i trusted her . and she said that it is half hers and she will take me to court for it . do you think i should be worried .

while you made a big mistake doing what you did this could work out. Anyway either go the the county tax records or get a title report. Not unlike a car whoever is on title is the rightful owner. In regards to the loan you did actually refi and put it in your name yes? If its in your name she has nothing to support her case.

Basically tell her to go away and let her pursue this legally. Be sure to document everything, phone calls, emails, letters etc. More than likely she'll just go away.

your screwed. Never put any ones name on the mortgage who is not paying for it. I realize that without her credit rating you could not have bought the house. It looks like use of her credit rating is going to cost you half of the house. You may ask her in court to show where she has paid on red cent on the home. It won't get you very far but its all you have.

In view of this mess you made for your self, was it worth it to get the house before you were qualified to do it on your own? Would you have been better off to have waited and done it right? People who have to have it now, usually pay a price.

I wonder about her sister. How does she feel about her sister going to jail for fraud? After all signing her sisters name was an act of fraud. So if she wants to push this, it may cost her sister a trip to jail. Don't use that as a threat. Wait till you talk to a lawyer and let him drag it out in court. If she knows your going to use that, she may get her sister lined up with a good lie. Blind side them with it. She may drop the whole thing. Remember not to let them know what your going to do till after it happens. If they are forwarned they are forarmed. Get a lawyer right now. Your in trouble and deep trouble at that. She will do what ever makes the new stud happy. After all she is having sex with him not you. Your friendship with her is long over.

hi Jessie, all automobile producers surely attempt to destruction many samples of the autos that they produce. the clarification that producers set limits is to soak up to account positioned on and tear and also transforming into older besides. Cambelts are especially dazzling in thats they dont destroy more beneficial typically than they do, i personnally when I owend a vaxuhall replaced my cambelt each and every 30,000 miles or 2 years as there would nicely be oil an infection on the belt that would scale back the life of the belt and ought to reason premature faliure, the vauxhall engine if its an ecotec engine is an interferance engne that signifies that if the belt does snap even as the engine is operating signifies that the interior elements would hit one yet another and at maximum proper bend vlaves meaning the top would ought to come back off and at worse an complete engine rebuild so i strongly reccomend that you persist with the producers reccomendations

Yes. Your foolish move in having her name on the mortgage will likely haunt you. If I understand you correctly, you are saying that her sister signed your "friends" name to the paperwork. That in itself might be fraud. You could be in a lot of trouble. Get a lawyer as your only hope of getting out.

Not if you've been paying the bills. Just bring the cancelled checks to court.
