Well, there are no traffic lanes, traffic signs, traffic lights or sidewalks. The roads are filled with trucks overcrowded with at least 100 people onboard. Besides that, there are herds of cattle that roam the streets. And also, there is no ambulance service of any kind.

Suggestions:

Be sure the trip is over by night fall
Bring a blind fold
Have a satellite phone so you can call for help if necessary.
Take a train instead.

I dont think Hubli road is plyable, after monsoons it gets worst kind disease potholes
