From Piccadilly Station to Eccelsall in Sheffield (Via Glossop and The Snake Pass/A57) it's Exactly 26 Miles.
Takes an Hour between4.30am and 7am (NOT WEEK DAYS), can take up to 2 Hrs During peak times!
And Longer if there's snow down on the Summit of Snake-Or if the Roads are Icy.
Alternative route in bad weather is A6 through Stockport, Cheadle Hume-then through Peak District(Rushup Edge,Winnets pass into Castelton then Follow signs to Sheffield)

Longer Route is M62 to M1-then M1 South to Sheffield(Getting off at Junction 36,Sheffield Parkway
