When selecting a watch decide what you are purchasing it for. In you want something that appreciates in value, get an automatic watch not quartz.
If you just want something trendy, then select a style that you enjoy.
If its just to tell the time - anything that fits your wrists....

But seriously, I have Rado with ceramic body and bracelet - awesome watch - very stylish and ceramic doesn't get scratched, so they look new even after years of wear.

If you are looking for style, convienience, price and something not too complicated it is the Nike 'CUFF' range. at nike.com/timimg search under models they're at the top of the list.
also www.creatviewatch.co.uk is very good the site looks rubbish but they have a good resonabley priced range.

Timex is my favorite. If you are looking for something expensive then Rolex is the classiest but I love timex's value and reliability.
