Well there are lots of good movies, depends on what u like. Just cuz someone likes something doesn't mean u will :). Here are some suggestions:
Devdas(2002)- love story/ Romance
Dhoom- action film
kuch kuch hota hai- romance/ Comedy
Dil se- drama/ romance
There are many films out there that u can watch. Most are very interesting. They are hard to find sometimes, un;ess u get them on the internet. The only one that is easy to find is Bride and Prejudice, that one is in english, It's not my favorite, but I like it too.

Absolutely: I can recomment two.
First, LAGAAN. I'd never seen a Bollywood film before, and this is one of the best movies I've ever seen.
Second, BRIDE AND PREJUDICE. It's a Bollywood movie in English from the director of BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM. As the title suggests, it's a version of Jane Austen's PRIDE AND PREJUDICE.

The best indian film ever is called Sholay. its from the 70's. you wanna watch new films with an actor called shah rukh khan. also golden oldies from 70' and 80's should star amitabh bachanan coz he's the man. But if u aint into indian films, and are interested in getting into them, then you have to watch Sholay.

Kal Ho Naa Ho- good old drmatic bollywood film wit all tha stars, n d numba 1 Sharukh Khan!! itz rely sad tho n ovadramatic lol
also, Tere Naam, highly highly upsetting, really you'd have to be heartless not to cry at this one, i felt emotionally scarred, no joke. u kno bollywood, itz all so dramatic!!

Kuch kuch hota hai...the movie star is sharukkhan (or whatever...his name is-it's so hard to pronounce...)this movie is easy to understand,funny and touching.i like it.. :-)Hope u like it 2...
