I imagine one of them would asking for easy answers on the internet instead of learning to do your own research.

Cramming would be one. Learning in all in a hurry does not help in the long run. You do not remember it longer than it takes you to take a test.

Rote memorization would be the other. If you just learn a list of names or dates by memory without knowing anything else about them, then this may help you pass a test, but you do not learn anything.
