Damn are you sure because I do hear music in the background while the rapper is rapping. Thus it is music. Damn I hate f***ing people who don't like rap. You have a right to your opinion and so do I and you might not like my opinion (like I really care) and vice versa with you.

Hip Hop and Rap tend to use other kinds of music as a base. This, in my opinion, only shows a lack of originality.

i like rap and hip-hop cause no matter that there's no music to dance,there are some lyrics abt true life..abt what hard life have ome of us...the rock as well,the difference is that rock has a noise instead of music...and in disco music or pop in general all it's abt love...it's kinda freaky...everyday 2 listen just abt love...8|

RAP AND HIP-HOP IS MUSIC!!!! IT HAS LYRICS AND YES IT DOES HAVE "MELODIES"! THINK ABOUT IT. CLASSICAL MUSIC IS PLAIN MUSIC USUALLY NO WORDS, LYRICS, OR SINGING, BUT THEN Y WOULD YOU JUST ATTACK HIP-HOP/RAP, Y NOT POP OR ANY OTHER MUISIC THAT IS NOT PURE "MUSIC" AS YOU LIKE TO CALL IT!! Rap isn't because it doens't really have a melody.
Hip-hop I guess might, but it's just unpleasant to listen to.

i agree with u 100%!!! rap is crap! rap and hip hop r def. noise pollution! half the time, u can't even understand the words or the beats the same or it's talking about screwin someone! and as the song goes.....rock and roll ain't noise pollution...rock and roll will never die!!!!
