If you could stand before a judge for a crime you knew that you committed, and as he gives you your sentence someone else wishes to pay the price for you...could you let that person take your punsihment?

i would find that person to be quite a HUMANITARIAN and let them if they are willing..hahahha

No. But if the judge told me that I could go free because the fine/punishment had already been paid, I would walk.

I'd be more than happy too. :-) depends on the punishment and who is taking it for me.
For example I couldn't let any harm come to my daughter or husband, on the other hand, if his EX wife were to stand up and offer to take ht punihsment...

no,I have to own up to my own mistakes/crimes.Why make someone else suffer for the things I chose to do,they didn't choose it.
