This bullshit so called picture of a half woman half ape should never have been duplicated in any type of (so called) news media.This depiction of a monkey head on an obviously human body is despicable and disgusting.

This sort of trash is believable only to those inbred cousin copulators who think the confederacy can still win the civil war! This so called picture of "Lucy" is offensive in the extreme and if they're going to make her African in appearance, then give her an African name. "Lucy" won't cut it, never will.

Then again what else could we expect from a company named after some stupid rebel yell!

The thing is - humans evolved, largely, in the jungles of Africa. I am fine with your complaint about the naming of "Lucy", but the rest of your rant doesn't take into consideration the information.

Evolution is not racist. Some less intelligent, or manipulative, people might try to make it so, but its not. Africans are no less evolved than Americans. In fact, according to evolution, Humans are no more evolved than apes or anything else; we just have evolved differently to better suit our environment.

As far as black versus white goes in evolution, its only a matter of adaptation. Africans have black skin becuase they have large amounts of melatonin to protect against the sun in Africa. Whites used to have the same skin, but when they migrated to northern areas like Europe, the sund didn't shine as directly there, thus in order to get enough vitamin D, they eventually created less and less melatonin, thus getting lighter skin. Both are adaptations for their environment, neither one is a step further along the evolutionary path.

I guess maybe that isn't a suitable name and maybe you prefer more stereotypical names like Paki or Madiha? Something truly African so you won't be offended. AMERICANS have all kinds of names and races, religions, cultures, beliefs. Just because someone photo shopped a picture doesn't mean you need to pull the race card and start screaming about racist white folks. If anybody is racist apparently it's you. I hope no one puts a fish head on that body you will have to call King Triton from the undersea world to tell him how it shouldn't be named Fin and everyone is a racist. Find a better cause that promotes unity instead of separation.
