Liberals pander to "groups" in general. They cultivate the notion that being a member of a group gives you special privileges and you shouldn't try to excel out of or beyond your group as a whole. They use the power of the government to take things from one group that won't vote for them and transfer privileges to the group of choice (in exchange for votes).
I believe in the power of the individual and the family, the smallest groups of all. I don't think any group should get special privileges. Bring back the 14th Amendment!

Your question coinheres a moral premise that presupposes the simplistic and oversimplifying mental agenda that has made conservatism as we now know it such an insufferable threat to the future of the American way of life.
While you are looking words up in the dictionary, you can look up "pander" and see why you may be thought to have oversimplified. If you get it.

Liberals tend to attract people who have their hands out for my money. The ACLU who think that men having sex with boys should be a protected right. Abortion and feminists who feel they should be able to kill their children right up to the day before they would be born. Blacks as long as they do not demand anything else from the party and get out and vote straight tickets. Hispanics same as blacks only with even less respect. Actors because they think they know more than anyone else and have more dollars than sense. These are your liberals.

Those durn liberals usually pander to the oppressed, the under-represented, the poor. EVERY social program in this country, going back to public education, has been sponsored by those durn liberals.
