Vanilla also removes odors. Put a small amount in a saucer or lid and leave for a few days. Baking soda also works good. Keeping onion in a closed zip lock bag is the best way.

Baking soda. The make a gadget that hangs in your fridge or sits in there.
Clean your fridge with any kind of citrus juice.
There is a Tupperware onion keeper at Wal-Mart for a couple bucks that you should invest in for further uses of onion it works and keeps your onion fresh for about a week.

Be sure to place your onion in a plastic baggie
slip-lock,leave a small box of baking soda near
by.Placing a slice of bread in the bag well also help absorb the odor. Good Luck..

Lemon juice works on the hands so I would assume that it would work on the refrigerator. I would wash the inside walls of the frig with lemon juice and sit a small bowl of lemon juice open in the frig for a few days. Hopefully this will help.

Use baking soda, open the box and just set it in the fridge :)
Use real lemon juice for a wipe down...
or some cleaner with lemony scent...
Mr. Clean has a nice smell too
