I am curious as to how you got a social security card with a name that is NOT on your birth certificate. Truthfully, the name on your birth certificate is your legal name, and any other names are an alias. You can visit your local clerk of the court and have your name legally changed to whatever you want it to be. I would also call the SSA and find out why they think your name is different than what is on your birth certificate.
