I am on the Nuva Ring right now and I went to fill the perscription today and it was really expensive....is there any other birth control rings out there besides the Nuva??

I would look into getting your Rx filled through the Planned Parenthood center or Public Clinic nearest you -- they often have a low-income sliding scale (the less you earn the less you pay). Pharmacies are expensive!

You might also consider going on a different type of BC. The shot averages about $25 a month (one injection costs about $75, but it lasts for 3 months).

Or you could consider a new barrier method called Lea's Shield, also available through PP. Its about $65, but it's a one-time expense, BUT you should use contraceptive foams/jellies (an item you'd purchase from a drug store).

Have you ever tried the iud they have 2 types a 5 year and a 10 year i have the 10 year and i like it you dont have to really worry about missing a pill or changing the ring every week.

of that particular type, i don't think so, ask your doc.
if you want something a little less expensive try the patch or pills.
ortho evra is low hormone,as is yaz, ortho tricycline lo.
all depends on what is safe for you to use and what would work best for you. ask your doc.
