I agree with you, no one is that important or has such a busy life that they need to be totally connected. I think it is more of a status thing than anything else. I also think it is disturbing and rude to carry on conversations in public on cell phones, many people do not seem to realize how loud they are actually talking.

lmao - Big Thumbs up on Lt Uhura!!!! She was galaxy light years ahead of the trends - of course!!!!!

there are a couple of guys here at work who wear them & they act & talk SO important - I think they look like a couple of azzes with them on & I don't know who they're trying to impress because it sure ain't me!!!!! So I agree with you 100%!

Besides the fact that it is against the law in some states to use a handheld phone while driving, it can be more convenient to use an earpiece so your hands can be free to take notes or type while talking business on your phone.

I use one of those and it has made my life so much easier. Since I am always multitasking it helps to be able to answer my phone at the touch of a button. And with Bluetooth it doesn't matter where I am, in the office or at home.
On the other hand, I am not too sure if this doesn't cause brain cancer..lol!

I don't know why people like them. I can understand using them while in the car, but other than that people just look like they are walking around having a conversation with themselves.

i think the blue tooth is stupid. You don't see it half the time and you don't know if a person is talking to you or not... i have one and only wear it in the car

I try not to stereotype the whole group of people that use them. There's some that actually need it, and some that look dumb.

i agree but only to a certain extent... i wear one but ONLY when i am driving. i have a standard car so holding a cell and changing gears can be difficult.... i dont wear one other than that!
