95 - 99 M3's have 240 horse.
95 - 99 3 series around 189 horse
when the e46 came out in late 99 so did different engines.
01 330 has around 225 horse
01 M3 has 333 horse
01 325 sedan around 189 horse

don't have the exact info in front of me but I think it's pretty close

Gee, we are talking beemers! Believe me even the 3 series will beat any v8 at a stop light to the top of the hill and then some. It doesn't matter --if it is 4 cylinder automatic or not. Beemers all over out rank anything on the road.
