Its just not the same without Stevie Y and Shanny. Legace is gone, I know he had it in him, he is outstanding in the regular season, he just choked his first start in the post season. I have much more faith in Legace than I do in both Osgood and Hasek put together.. but thats just me. I will always be a red wings fan to the end... but I have to wait and see how they do... SO far tonight they are doing great! Only time will tell! I have faith they will bring Sir Stanley's cup home again this year!!!

The line up looks good until you get to the goalie. They have a lot of young players and some veterans. They made a big mistake letting Manny go. Hasek won't last half the season. Osgood you never know from one game to the next, heck, from one period to the next what you'll get. If they can survive with the goalies they have I think they have a chance to go all the way.

WIthout Yzerman, they lost an inspirational leader. But they still have others. If Hasek gets injured, they're going to have to rely on Osgood. The defense is solid with Lidstrom and Chelios. They have a pretty good offense with Zetterberg and Datsuyk. They should challenge for the President's Trophy and the Stanley Cup. I predict second place finish in the West and third round exit in the playoffs.

they are younger then the past several years, but the big question is on Hasek can he finish a season i don't think he can with his style of play. he gets hurt to easy in his old age. and Chris Osgood hasn't been a starter in years. so i personally believe it was a big mistake on letting Legace go and signing Hasek.
