have you tried mechanics waterless hand cleaner? it takes out just about any kind of grease and oil you can imagine, and its cheap and easy. just brush into spot with a toothbrush and throw item in the wash. should come right out everytime. rarely do i have to repeat the process.

The grease stain is probably set if you've already washed it, but if you have not washed it try spraying mean green on it before you wash it. My mother works in a kitchen a gets grease stains on her all of the time. She uses it and it gets it right out. Now I tryed this on my husbands work jeans (the jeans had already been washed several times before) and it did not remove the old stains. Good luck!

This may not work on the stain that you describe, but try it - what do you have to lose? This actually removed the grease "shadow" from a stain that had been laundered, and I was surprised/impressed. Fool around with the procedure for the type of material, but the secret ingredient is Gojo hand cleaner. I can't remember if it is one of their recommended uses - they may recommend lanundering procedures - I wouldn't have thought to use it as a laundry treatment otherwise - good luck.

Well you've already washed it so many times, that it might not come out at all anymore... Usually when the stain is fresh you pour flour, or cornmeal on it to soak up the grease, let it sit for a day. Then before you get ready to wash it spray a stain remover on it and throw it in the wash, HOT wash COLD rinse.

its probably there for good now, but you could try rubbing chalk on it. Chalk may absorb the grease, but the grease is probably gone, and it is just a stain now.
