The Bush Administration went to war against Iraq with the advice of only a few people who were hand picked to agree with the President, Vice Pres, Sec. of Defense and Condi. Of course none of them know anything about what they were doing and the results prove it.
The 9-11 Commission was hand picked to be softies and manipulated and ignored later.

He may be covering something,but am advising him as a friend to set up that commission immediately to have a free slate before leaving office.

It would have gotten in the way of his march to, and justification for, the invasion of Iraq.
And as we've seen, he was correct in his assumption.
