I am graduating in january and going to community college right in january. I am just going for a year then transferring to a college i really want to go to (probally out of state one near a beach). Is anyone else going to community college in January?

My boyfriend is and then after he gets his associates degree will transfer into a liberal arts college to get his bachelors.

Community colleges are a great place to learn and ease into college. Just because you start there doesn't mean that you won't be successful. At the college my dad works at, the Dean of the Business School/Assistant Provost (VP for Academics), graduated from a local community college and so did the President of the college.

I went to a community college and did 1.5 years and got my associates. I transfered to a top 20 Public University and graduated with a double major and honors. I'm not going to a top Law School. Without CC I could have made it to the crappiest college nearby, SF State.

Went to a community college and graduated. Couldn't transfer though because of financial problems, so hope you have that kind of money.
