I have only been here 3.5 years, but I think the people here are generally friendly, very chill, progressive, and intelligent. I moved here from Michigan because I loved the area so much....the beautiful scenery, the moderate climate, the people, the politics, etc. I haven't regretted my decision even for a second.
So, to answer your question, Seattle is not a good place to live...It's the best!

i have lived in Seattle most of my life - there is always something to do year round - very family oriented place. I wish people would quit complaining about the rain because that is what keeps the Emerald City so beautiful. In Seattle people seemed more excepting of differences because it is so international. Living in the city couridor is very expensive, the suburbs are more reasonable and we have the best transportation system in the U.S. Enjoy!!!!!!

Yes, totally! Rain in Seattle is overrated- it rains more in the cities closer to the mountains than in Seattle. It's a lot nicer city than places like Detroit and stuff.

it is attractive, isn't it? I purely have been given right here final month so i'm clean off finding by way of Eastside for a deal on a house. We have been shown some ~2000sq footers interior the extreme 400s that, at the same time as they are older and not "super effective," are genuinely sufficient and placed in risk-free, beautiful, kinfolk neighborhoods, on the factor to each thing. in case you purely prefer 3 beds you could probable do even better than that. My suggestion is, you purely gotta hire for slightly in case you could, and make the hassle to seem around. provide your self time to get to renowned the "environment" of diverse factors and take into consideration your holiday, in case you have one. the place we appeared (Redmond, Kirkland), the neighborhoods seem extremely risk-free, a minimum of whilst in comparison with the place I lived previously. young infants strolling quite a few blocks to college without make certain is a elementary sight. Sorry i'm not plenty help once you're finding to stay interior the city itself.

I hope so! I grew up near there, in Kitsap county, and have been in Florida for six years, and I miss it a lot. I hope to move back in the next couple of years.

Yea..............if you want to see rain 3/4 of the year. I guess the locals get used to it. But if you need a flight out or in, expect delays.
