Is that what you call it. I thought it was a foreign language. We hate it, can not stand it when cars come by my house late at night and have it blaring.

No you are not. I do not care for it. I know that I am a little old for rap and there is a generational difference, but that does not account for it. I like other music that the "kids" listen to. Rap does make me feel good. Other music does. That is my main reason for my dislike of rap.
Before anyone gets too offended, I do not think all rap is "bad." The performers are extremely talented, I just do not care for it personally.

No i hate rap, when i go into school and people are talking about it i just want to scream, these people are getting paid to talk fast and to make a few little words sound the same, in my opinion the only reason why they begane to do rap is because 1 day someone came along and found out they couldnt sing so they said ' hey why dont i talk fast with a bit of music in the backround ' lol

no....but not all rap is the same. Hiphop is huge with many different varieties of groups. Maybe you don't like 50cent but have you tried Kanye West, Black eyed peas or even some less known like Blackalicious , Spearhead, Digable planets. You can't dismiss a genre of music based on a couple of ganster rappers, who I have nothing against. Rap and hip hop is much deeper than that.

I personally dislike the rap that is blarring out of everyones car for everyone else to hear. Some songs I do like, but not all, most of it is just haters and dope dealers talking about what they got and how they got shot. As I said not all of it is bad though, you just have to find the right ones.

As the mother of a guy who was once obsessed with rap, I don't like it. Since he has moved 750 miles away,I'd give my right arm to hear that rap again and know he is home. He is doing very well in Texas, I just miss him,

No u are not. I love lots of types of music ranging from the 40's up to nowadays. I just hate rap, greebo and heavy metal rock n roll.

Wow! I remember when the break-dancing rap hit, I could not get *ENOUGH*! The fresh prince of bel-air, will smith, LOVE HIM! But, now, all you hear is toooo doooo wwwewe weeerere and so on. I can understand ANY word they say, and when I do its something to do with her humps, lumps, etc, and makes me think it is all sexual in nature, anyway, or gangsters talking to other gangsters.... I wish it would be banned. I think it is horrible. Take this "fergie" girl who use to be on kids inc, now she is half naked in a teddy singing how shes "Sexual but discreet, sexual but not sleeping around" or something. My 11 yr old son asked me what it meant and I asked what he was talking about and he said my friend asked me if I wanted to borrow his cd, he pulled it out of his backpack, I hit the floor! I listened to after they all went to bed and could not believe the sexual content. Needless to say, *I* returned the cd to the boy this morning, LOL

I am not a prude by any stretch of the imagination, but I find rap to be sleezy garbage and should be thrown out with the trash.
