Well first if you do not have one in your area you have to talk to your county council members and go to there meetings and make an purposal to get one and they have to prove on it and if they do no say yes to this then you are sol bc that means no permits no be able to buy a building for one. One person already tried here to get a homeless shelter in our town and bc there is one in an area near us they said no but for the homeless ppl here to get to the other one is impossible bc it is 30 minutes away by car or bus and most of these homeless ppl have no money. The county council here are MORONS bc they say if they have a homeless shelter in our area that will bring more homeless into the community. I JUST HOPE YOU HAVE MORE LUCK then we did and i hope you do not have MORONS for county council.
i am glad you are trying though that is a good thing and if you can not open one maybe try volunteering at one or volunteer for habitat for humanity.

Check with City Hall to find out what the requirements are for providing shelter for the homeless. There are likely limits on the number of people you can offer shelter to, and you will have to ensure that safety regulations are met as well.

Well I would just volunteer at a homeless shelter if I was you because it must be very hard to set up a homeless shelter. If you are going to ask for donations have somebody else right the letters because you obviously have issues with spelling.
