The car was produced in the seventies and was not very popular. I believe only three or four were made in 1973. They were mostly custom ordered and built. They are called; Cadillac Mirage. You can find more with a web search using this name.

Are you sure that it wasn't an El Camino with caddy badges and body parts on it? Many GM cars, especially during the era of the 70's through mid 80's had so many interchangeable parts amongst the different brands that it very well could have been possible that it was indeed a custom car with a modified body.

I think they are custom made for the funeral industry. It was not a production car for the public like the El Camino.

I don't know what they called them but they were bought and used by funeral homes to transport flowers for funerals. They may have been altered by an outside company.
