An advertisement appeared in the London evening paper for ‘someone to shave the pubic area of Miss Universe contestants’. Paddy attended the interview and after filling in the application form he was told to make his way to Brighton seafront (58 miles away). ‘But I thought the contest was in London’ Paddy complained. ‘It is’ came the reply ‘but that’s where the end of the queue is’.
