First and foremost is learning how to type/spell.
it's Moron, not Moran. It's because, not cos. It's Spit, not spitted.
Second, do nothing. It's outside of work, your boss has no control of you outside of work. Second, if he cut you off, no turn signal and whatnot, he's at fault for driving like an ***. Leave him alone for a few days, perhaps next week he will forget about the whole thing.
And lastly, if you feel bad about the whole issue, then apologize to him. Explain that you were upset because he cut you off, slammed on his brakes, didn't use a turn signal, or whatever.

I wouldn't apologize! But that's just me! He could have killed you and himself! The spitting went a little too far, but I've been there while driving. These nuts on the roads are on their cell phones, fixing their make-up, hollering at the kids, not paying any attention to their driving. Just stay low key at work. He's the boss! Hopefully he'll have some major project to put his mind on so that he'll forget about what happened. And if he doesn't and brings up the subject, just let him know in a calm tone that he cut you off, you didn't realize that it was him, but by being cut off like that surprised you and made you nervous. But also tell him that you do apologize for the spitting and that it was immature of you. Make sure you stress to him that both of you could have been killed. Maybe the word killed will back his a*s up off of you.
Good Luck on this subject.

He can't do anything to you at work since it happened out of work, off the clock. But it could be really uncomfortable. You have a few options:
1. Apologize, tell him you had a really bad morning but you were startled when he slammed his brakes and it just set you off. He is a human too, he should understand bad days.
2. Wait for him to say something, then defend yourself. Tell him that he cut you off and you got pissed.
3. Pretend that it didn't happen and if he brings it up tell him the office is no place for this discussion as it happened off company property, off the clock.
4. Lie and say it wasn't you.
Obviously there are many outcomes to each situation and it all depends on how much you like your job. Options 1 and 3 are if you like your job and want to remain professional. 2 and 4 are if you don't care about your job as much and don't mind your boss being pissed at you. Like I said he can't do anything like fire you but he can make your job harder by being an *** at work.
Good luck!

Apologize. You're not the first person to give someone the bird after being cut off. He should also apologize to you for cutting you off and slamming his brakes. His behavior on the road could have caused an accident. However, both of you should take responsibility for your road rage. His being your boss is a sticky situation, but there is no reason you cannot confront him. His behavior outside of the office could have gotten both of you killed.

well, I think you could start by apologizing.
Why is it that we (myself included) change personalities when we get behind the wheel? It's like we see the other drivers as "cars" and not as the real human people that they are. We drive like we're inside a video game, and forget that we're taking our lives and the lives of so many other people into our hands every day.
I think you should be grateful that you learned this lesson now, without having to experience the devastation of a serious accident.
It's just one more step in the journey, friend...
good luck.

It was your fault that you decided to spit on his car and make an offensive gesture. You can do one of 3 things-
1. Forget about the situation and maybe he will too.
2. Go into his office crying with your pants around your ankles begging for his foregiveness
3. In your angriest and loudest voice say, "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!"

yikes I dont blame you, I would have flipped him off to. Just ignore the whole thing dont say a word. act like everything is ok. If he does say why did you do that just say calmly because you cut me off and slammed on your brakes. And leave it at that. When you are honest and calm i find that it throughs people for a loop. But hopefully he wont say anything.

Dude you have to be more civilized next time you never know who you'll be face up against.(This is a good example, the thing with your boss) apologize and say that it wasn't one of your best days.

Ask him where he learned how to drive and say that the instructor had to be totally blind to give him a license. On a serious note, tell him that you thought it was ex-boyfriend or something and you are sorry for the mistake.

Sounds to me like you both were bordering on road rage. Accept it as a lesson learned and think twice before you do something like that again. It is hard to restrain yourself sometimes, I am guilty myself. I hope your boss cools down, good luck.
