Stevie Wonder. He has soul and can really jazz things up. He is by far the most talented musician I have ever heard.
As for a band, I would have to say that I really like the Beatles. Their music style is still catchy and people now even use beats and rhythms in modern music of today.

I couldn't answer this question at gunpoint, seriously. It depends so much on my mood. And I have a love/hate relationship with a lot of groups and artists, where I need to give them 'time off' before coming back to them.
It's become almost de rigeur to like 'early Mac', and I do, but the essence of the band for me personally is Lindsey Buckingham's guitar work on albums like 'Rumours.' Great example of how texture and subtlety, not pure pyrotechnics, can elevate a song.

Fleetwood Mac are excellent I must admit but I like Gorillaz for a more recent band.

Bon Jovi. I liked them when I was younger and sometimes i just put them on and remember all I liked about them. I also think they are a band that has grown with their fans, 'this left feels right' is exactly what I want to listen to now, at this time in my life.
I also will always love Guns n Roses and the Manic Street Preachers.

I like Fleetwood, too. But, the Beatles reign supreme till the end of time. They rewrote the sound of music and influence many generations of singers and artists.
