wasnt his daughter so brave yesterday when speaking of her larger than life father,most adults cant even handle death but she was so composed for an 8 year old. and that was so sweet that she made a promis to her father to always do her best, her love for animals ect.... i wish her great happyness.

Yet another sad example of human stupidity and arrogance. This is akin to thinking that the ray intentionally stabbed Irwin because it "thought" like a human being. As I understand it, the ray reacted in self-preservation, as any animal would, because it felt threatened by the attentions of Irwin and his camera crew. Obviously, the people who did this tragically do not understand Irwin's message.

Yes I've heard about it. It's already old news. Steve Irwin's manager and family have asked people to leave the stingrays alone.
You will always have people who go to extremes unfortunately.

I did hear about this & was appauled! Some people just don't get it, do they?? Very inconsiderate & those wishing to "avenge" Steve's death should think about what Steve would think. You are right, he would be very hurt over this.

Yea that's just ridiculous, Steve loved animals and he would've hated to see this happening. If you want to mourn, don't do it by doing something Steve wouldn't have approved of. Go free a turtle or something!
