Are you SURE it has anything to do with your period and it isn't urinary incontinence? It could be that your tampon is pressing on your bladder (from inside your vagina) and making the muscles incapable of holding your urine when you cough. You should see your doctor and double check that you're not suffering from UI.

Your bladder is probably leaking when you cough. This could be from a poorly placed tampon pressing on the urethra or a from weak muscles that control the bladder. Meantime why on earth do you use toilet paper in place of a pantyliner if that is what you want? There is nothing that says you can't change it frequently. You would probably do best to consult your physician on this.

You probably have a weak bladder which means when you cough, sneeze or laugh urine will leak out of you. You really need to start doing pelvic floor exercises. ( When you next go for a wee try holding it when you are weeing so you know what to do ) You need to do loads of these everyday for it to have an effect. Try starting off with a few then build it up each day. You must do this from know on so the problem doesn't occur again. Doing your pelvic floor will increase your orgasm's as well.

No, I do not think this is normal. You should call and make an appointment with your gynecologist. It sounds more like a bladder infection or bladder control problem. Contact your doctor.

Yes, if I don't get the tampon in right. Sometimes it turns and is pressing against my urethra and I have a hard time peeing or emptying my bladder.

Sometimes the same thing happens to me with defication. Thils is mostly when I become sick and cough too much. The long hard coughing causes it.

Sounds like the tampon you use needs to be sized up. Always wearing a item will cause yeast infections. You may have a weak bladder talk to your OBGYN

Of course it does that is why panty liners were invented. Try this:

By doing these simple exercises(birth has little to do with muscle tone) you will stop that ...
