Another Stephen King book is Different Seasons, it has four short stories. One of my favorites is in this book, Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption.

White Time by Margo Lanagan has some pretty weird stories in it.

"Smoke and Mirrors" by Neil Gaiman has a variety of different short stories, all by Gaiman, but each one has a very unique quality that puts the reader of this time and realm.
