Information is such a concept that has a vast meaning depending on the context. The concept of information is closely related to notions of constraint, communication, control, data, form, instruction, knowledge, meaning, mental stimulus, pattern, perception, and representation. For the first time, what comes in our mind hearing the word 'Information' some data? Even though Information and data are closely related. Actually they are different. Data is a set of unrelated information i.e. data is defined as raw facts while information is processed data so we can say data is the representation of the information. So if the data is properly evaluated it becomes information. We can think in the strict sense that Information is a subset of data. For Example, ten dishes, 20 glasses, ten computers, ten mouse, ten cups, 5 UPS, two gas oven, 30 spoons, 10 cups, 11 plates 12 chairs, 10 keyboards, 10 water bottles, etc.. These are some data. If we filter it, collect all the computer related data to a set then it will be Information.
For another example, we may think about a boy's age whose age is four. Then this information may represent as with the help of the Numerals (4) also it can be represent as Roman numerals (IV), tick marks (III) or any other way we agree on. The information has not changed in each case, though the data has changed.

Information means 'processed data'. Data are raw facts. Suppose we see or meet an event and wish to tell it to our friends or someone asks for it. We do not tell everything in detail, do we?
Then it will be like speaking a saga or a poem.
Our brain scans and analyses the data (i.e. the event we saw), edits out the irrelevant parts and finally we speak out what we have to say. That is called as Information.
Thus, Information means processed data.

Different translations of the bible would suggest love and charity are synonmus. Examples found in.1st Corrinthians ch. 13 vs. 1-17 illustrate this many times. I would enjoy hearing from a scholar of the languages used in those past times to clarify my understanding. The story of the "World's Poorest Philanthropist", Gilbert "Harold" Ewing II (myself) is the reason for this querry. The " act of grace", or charity, reffered to in the news interview, has posited this question and I lack the sort of education to provide any insights of true value.
