..freedom and responsibility might be better.. oh I see, you did say basic tenets.. so I guess you did include that..
-----myself, I had, and have a burning desire for truth.. And the idea that there is no truth or reality, defies common sense to me.. I beleive religion is getting a very bad rap, intentionally through lots of anti-propaganda.. And I also believe the world religions began on a profound truth someone found (or presented) and open minded ness and common sense goes a long way in judging the origianl to its handed down version in the world of today, with its blend, like anything else, of good and bad.. as it's passed through many human hands.. How many peoply actually research and honestly try to find out what a faith is really about, to say nothing of any of the good it has done in the world.. All this religion and 'fundy' bashing is just the smae old same old.. the blame game and bigotry..

Check with L. Ron Hubbard before you go creating your own religion. I think he has a patent right on the process.
