Question

Why are some 'moderate' muslims feel they are being picked on to keep an eye on their kids for signs of extremism. I don't see christians and jews blowing ppl up in the 7/7 or 9/11 atrocities. Yes we know other religious groups do kill as well but you cannot deny that muslim extremism is a great threat to this country. The Home Office has already said they have foiled 5 attacks already within a year

Who created Slavery (the african slave trade), it was chrisitans in America and UK.

Who has been responsible for the killing of hundred thousands of innocent civilians in the middle east? It is Bush he is a christian.

Who created the Taliban? America a Christian country.

However this doesn't make all christians bad. It is a minority that is bad.
The same applies to Jews and muslims. A small minority are bad.

Why doesn't America and the UK stop interferring in the Middle East?

America wants to invade and attack Iran. If they did just like they did for Iraq and the People of Iran defended themselves, they will be called terrorists.

A warning to AMERICA........... Don't attack IRAN. If you do, then the consequences will be disastrous on you. Iran are not gonna sit back and let you attack them just the way you did for Iraq. If the Iranians get bombed and they defend themselves, they will still be called terrorists.

You have no reason to attack Iran. If its nuclear weapons your worried about, then remember that YOU the americans are the only nation that has used a nuclear weapon with the intent to kill.

If you Americans stopped attacking these countries for OIL, then maybe you wont be at threat. But the the CIA and all your other agencies will have no jobs, I guess thats why you do this.

I don't think its the moderate Muslims that feel they are being picked on, the ones we have seen on the news jumping up and down are still the extremist.

I think most Muslims are afraid to stand up to them as they would be the next targets.

Those that came to this country for a better life must be sorry to see their off springs that they have reared being brainwashed by the religion that they though the mosques were teaching them, I am sure Islam is being betrayed by these fanatics

The Home Office also spent years trying to stop Irish terrorists from commiting atrocities. I don't recall many Muslims within the PIRA. And now we have the likes of McGuiness and Adams being treated like respectable politicians. And lets not forget our American allies response to all this. IRA spokesmen were greeted as heroes in certain parts of the country, millions of dollars were raised for ' the boys behind the wire' and IRA suspects were often not extradited because they were 'political' offences.

fux sake. Don't believe the hype man. Not everyone thinks that 'muslim exremists' were responsible for those attacks. And actually christian countries have blown ppl up all over the world since the start of the industrial age....the us also funds Israel which blows up palestinian children and lebanese families. The US has funded more civil wars that any other on the planet, and just went and blew loads of ppl up in Iraq too. Perspective anyone? Stop believing the Sun and the Daily Mail.

Christian extremists - George Bush n Co. Caused nearly 500,000 deaths since he came to power, not an atrocity?

Jewish extremists - Israeli govt. destroying infrastructures, resources and farmland (sewn with cluster bombs), conducts kidnap operations in which civilians are routinely killed wihouy any thought, not atrocities?

Because they are acts of retaliation committed by civilian/paramiltaries rather than an army they are terrorists? If thats the way you think then Hitler's SonderKommando exterminating Poles was no war crime, they were soldiers doing it after all?

Just because its a govt doesn't mean it can't support or conduct terrorist operations. The US was the worlds biggest cash sponser of terrorism during the 1980s (Noam Chomsky, Professor, MIT), because the UK has allied so closely with them we are now experiencing the backlash for actions committed by them.

Also the UK has a terrible record in the Middle East, alot of the trouble today can be traced back to the post war years of British interference and the attempts to take over the oil production back then.

I am not saying terrorism is right but if you don't understand the root of what causes it you can't fix it. War never works in the fight against terrorism unless you can annhiliate the "enemy", and that is genocide as it requires the extermination of civilian populations too.

We targetted Muslim civilians in their countries, now they target ours. Reap what you sow.


Edit: What is it about Suicide bombers, its like a buzz word used by idiots. There is no difference between a suicide bomber and a cluster bomb dropped from a plane onto civilians, except in your minds. The image of someone who is so willing to force invaders out they will give their life frightens you but the thought of a plane dropping bombs with explosive power equal to 100s of suicide bombers doesn't?

it's because moderate muslims know that the actual percentage of extremist s within the whole muslim population is extremly small, children are influenced religiously by their parents so moderate muslims feel pretty sure their kids arent'd gonna go extremist if they are only moderate muslims anyway. also, its pretty offensive, as we don't even consider these suicide bombers muslims, as the Quran says that those who commit suicide will not be given a place in heaven. Read our Holy Book and you will see Islam is a religion of peace, it is forbidden to just go around blowing people up, what God would encourage it? We don't even consider those terrorist true muslims when, by making a statemnt and blowing people up, they are going against the whole point of Islam. THAT is why we get offended. Real muslims are going to be teaching their children peace and not violence, so they know their kids wont turn in2 terrorists if they'r teaching them real Islam. and plus, wouldn't u feel the same if it was you? be honest.

the attacks have nothing to do with religion honey! its all politics! the more you know about Politics the worse it gets.... now y americans have blamed it on muslims because 1. its human nature we always like to blame eachother for our own sins 2. war is a necessity for ameria's economy 3. what does iraq has anyhthing to do with 911???? i've said this before!
