How to change primary and secondary IDE channels to DMA?

I have Windows ME and there is no advance settings tab to make the changes in device window.

This has to be done in your CMOS (BIOS). If your motherboard don't support it then you can't use it.

Unless there is a setting in the BIOS of your PC to do this, you can't. It is not a Windows feature. It is a hardware (motherboard) feature. If not, just switch the IDE cables and jumper settings on the drive to be what you need.
