With out a city on it, I guess the token people would call it a maverick token. That is; one that little is know about it. You might try Yahoo groups for a group of token collectors and see if they know. Put in "token and medal society" in google and get their Email address and they also may be of help.

Do you know which Ed Byrne it is? According to Wikipedia, there are three famous ones-
Ed Byrne, Irish Comedian
Ed Byrne, Canadian Politician
Ed Byrne, Jazz Artist from Philadelphia
If you know which one he is (or if he's someone besides those 3) it might make it easier to research the collector's coin?
